visiting Hilo to teach Inner Nourishing Qigong and Tai Ji Quan.

Master FENG YIJIAN (Master of Tai Ji Quan) from China
Master Feng Yijian is the retired Director of the Training Base at the National Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital and respected TCM doctor. He became an apprentice of Li Jingwu in 1972, systematically learning and mastering Traditional Chen-style, Wu-style, Yang-style, and Sun-style Tai Ji Quan; weapons; pushing-hands; and Tai Ji Nei Gong. At the same time, he studied acupuncture and qigong massage. He was mentioned in the China Tai Ji Quan Encyclopedia and China Influential Contemporary Traditional Martial Arts Directory, and has been involved in such books as the Li Jingwu Autobiography of a Legend and the Essence of International Tai Ji Quan Practice and the Collective Works of Li Jingwu Chen and Wu Style Tai Ji Quan. Throughout the years, he has traveled internationally to such countries as America, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries to share his knowledge regarding Tai Ji Quan.

DR. LIU YAFEI (Master of Inner Nourishing Qigong)
Dr. Liu Yafei is the retired vice-director of National Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital and Training Base. She is the 7th-generation successor of Nei Yang Gong, a practice which descends from the 1650’s (during the Ming & Qing Dynasty). Over the 20+ years, she has traveled to numerous countries, such as France, Japan, Germany, Spain, etc., to spread and teach Nei Yang Gong Qigong. Her father Liu Guizhen, who was the 6th-generation successor of Nei Yang Gong, is known as the father of modern medical Qi Gong and coined the term “qi gong.” She has made further strides in Nei Yang practice with collaboration of movement into the established quiescent forms. As a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician, she prescribes specific qi gong forms to treat a variety of medical problems/diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases, digestive problems, as well as cancer.

National Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital and Training Base- This is the only state-approved medical qigong hospital in China. Dr. Liu Guizhen founded the school in order to use qi gong to treat patients.
