TAI JI QUAN means the "supreme ultimate fist."
On a strictly physical level, Tai Ji Quan consists of a set of body movements (or forms) which activate qi flow through the energy channels (meridians). It works on the external and internal level. External awareness is promoted through correct alignment of posture and body. With mindfulness and practice, external awareness can lead to internal awareness. In that way, the mind, body, and breath is connected.
Under the guidance of Master Feng Yijian, the many levels of Tai Ji Quan can be unraveled. Besides being a TCM doctor, he is a Master of Tai Ji Quan, who trained under Grandmaster Li Jingwu. Master Feng Yijian is noted for his Traditional Chen style, Wu style, Yang style, and Sun style Tai Ji Quan; weapons; Pushing Hands; Tai Ji Nei Gong.
